As we look forward to the year ahead, Jules Burke and her team of health journalists (most of which have been on a fertility journey) want to express their heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to everyone in the fertility community..
We understand the challenges, the ups and downs, and the emotional rollercoaster that individuals and couples face on their journey to parenthood, and know the importance of a strong and honest support system.
We prioritise education over profit
But its also vitally important that we help you be successful on your TTC journey by recommending only the best products and services in the fertility world.
These days there is a mind blowing amount of choices with hundreds of ivf clinics all saying they are the best. We would rather recommend only tried and tested companies, that really are the best in their class, than make money by promoting companies we don’t fully believe in.
It’s why we created our Michelin inspired section of ‘BEST IVF CLINICS’ on the homepage of our website.
Fertility clinics cannot pay to be listed, we choose them thanks to their official success statistics, their treatment of clients, value for money, and personal recommendation..
The shocking costs of an IVF baby
Did you know the average cost of an IVF baby is now around 75,000? Some of this is down to the genuine need for repeated attempts at IVF, but some of it is just down to poor clinics who don’t bother with the best procedures and protocols. Let’s face it, if it doesn’t work then they make more money right?
“Listening to our community we realised people were desperate for health journalists who have done their research and are trustworthy, creating a platform where only trusted providers of excellence are posted”.
The ‘BST approved list’ on the homepage of our website has expanded worldwide to cover six countries, highlighting genuine success centres.
BST also produces its own tv style reporting on issues close to our hearts because we believe in quality in everything. We are a strong advocate of getting fit for fertility with the correct exercise and nutrition. It’s important to emphasise that everyone doesn’t always need to go straight to IVF and simple modifications to your routine and understanding your body can often reap great rewards.
Take a look at our website for inspiring videos of people on a fertility journey who will remind you that you’re not alone and can help educate you on what to expect. We also cover surrogacy, pcos, and endometriosis and are proud to say since we started talking about these issues, other fertility platforms have copied us and these health issues and their affect on a woman’s body during their TTC journey, are now bering talked about a lot more. Even leading gynaecologists are realising that they need to consider these issues during ivf.
Leading health videos
Continuing with our inspiring collection of video reports by ivf warriors, we now have a series of interviews coming up with leading doctors whose success rates really are mind blowing. Did you know that repeated miscarriages are caused by killer cells, and that every woman should be tested for these before starting a fertility journey?
We interviewed Louise Warneford author of ‘Baby Dreams’, who suffered an incredible 18 miscarriages before finally discovering an amazing gynaecologist who helped her to realise her dream baby. Her tenacity and determination serve as inspiration to our whole team every day.
We’ve also worked hard to make our website entertaining and taken into account other useful tips and services from nutrition to celebrity stories and inspirational travel blogs.
Relaxing and ensuring you aren’t stressed by getting away from it all and re charging your batteries is so important when TTC, so we have a team of travel reporters around the world writing about inspiring places to visit. Our aim is simple: to help readers get fitter, feel fabulous, unwind and live their best lives.
In recognition for her integrity and hard work in 2023, Best Fertility Now CEO Jules Burke was honoured to receive the ‘Most Empowering Fertility Media Company CEO award’’, as testament to her honest and inspiring views on supporting those trying to conceive.
Excited about a new type of fertility show
If you would like to meet her and find out more – what inspired her to create the platform, her journalism for the BBC and national press, and her own inspiring fertility journey, then please visit the ‘Future Fertility show’ in Dublin the weekend of March 2nd to 3rd 2024:-
“I’m excited to be one of the guests at this new type of fertility show” says Jules.
“After being one of the lead interviewers at the Fertility Show in London, I realised that women are increasingly doing their own research on clinics and needed something new and inspiring in an event aimed at helping women trying to conceive..
Unlike other fertility shows this new show is offering women something they can’t easily get elsewhere.
Instead of just listing mostly IVF clinics, the Future Fertility show has a more holistic approach, combining everything you need on a fertility journey with the best in future beauty developments. It’s even impressed leading politicians, with the MEP for Dublin, Frances Fitzgerald an excited advocate.
“They have cleverly created a sister show in the same building at the same time so women can choose to visit both and have an incredibly rewarding experience”, added Jules.
“I’m looking forward to interviewing some of the giants of the fertility world, and highly recommend people come along if they’re TTC”.
